Another popular doughnut shop in downtown Victoria announced they’re closing for good at the end of July.
In a social media post, Frickin’ Delights Donuts announced they would be closing their doors on July 31st after many setbacks.
“Our hearts are heavy in this. We are tired and we didn’t want to end… but we can no longer keep going,” said shop owners, Mandy and Cory.

Founded in 2013 by a husband and wife duo, began selling from a converted laundry room in Devon, Alberta. In 2017, they opened a brick and mortar location which saw people driving from all over just to get their hands on the delicious baked goods.
In 2022, the duo relocated their business from Alberto to Victoria and opened up a little shop on the corner of Broad and Yates Street.
Frickin’ Delights donuts are 100% vegan, made fresh daily, and come in a large variety of different flavours.
They use ingredients such as local wholegrain flour, applesauce, soft brown sugar, sea salt, and coconut milk. Their donuts are dairy-free and egg-free, making them safe for those with allergies.
The donut shop will be open everyday until July 31st.
Last month, the Doughnut Vault announced its permanent closure as of June 30th.
Doughnut Vault’s sole Owner and Operator Andrew Furness turned to social media to announce the closure and thank those who have helped him along the way.
“To be honest, the decision wasn’t very hard. And although I absolutely love making doughnuts and other treats for everyone to enjoy, the negatives just started outweighing the positives for me,” wrote Furness.
As for Frickin’ Delights, they will be open everyday until July 31st.
