Just on cue, the weather is expected to be perfect for the 5th annual Village Block Party, returning to Cook Street Village this weekend.
From live music and entertainment to artisan vendors, food trucks, and dog races, this will be an event you won’t want to miss.
The Village Block Party takes place in Cook Street Village from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 9th.
The main stage, located at Cook and Sutlej, will feature music performances from Harvey Hann Band, Devil Woman, Posh Coat, and Millet.
Meanwhile, the acoustic stage near the intersection of Cook and Pendergast will feature Steph Macpherson, Darkest Horse, Talel McBriar, CourtLand Duo, and Sport Mode.
And what’s a party without magic! There will be a dedicated stage for that at Cook and Oliphant, hosted by Derek “Magic” Johnson and featuring talent from the Victoria Magic Circle.
There will also be plenty of artisan vendors—over 100 to be exact—along with food trucks and a dog race to cap the day.
The event is also licensed, which means adults can stay cool with a bevy.
