Friday, June 7th marks National Donut Day, and to celebrate this incredibly important event, we’re providing an updated list of must-try donut places in and around Victoria.
Take yourself on an adventure and get yourself that circular, icing-crazed treat. Go nuts, get a box to “share,” we won’t tell anyone.

Esquimalt Bake Shop
Last week, we took to Facebook to find out what everyone’s favourite location was, and Esquimalt Bake Shop held the vast majority of votes!
Located in Esquimalt Plaza, this pastry shop is known for their famous Apple Fritters and Raspberry Jam Filled donuts.
Take home a donut and another one of their delicious pastry treats.

Sidney Bakery Ltd.
Sidney Bakery was the second most mentioned on our Facebook post!
Owned by Mike and Colleen Hay, this family owned business has been crafting and mastering mouth-watering recipes for over 70 years.
This sought-after bakery always has a line, and for good reason!

Empire Donuts
Don’t get just one, order a whole mix-and-match box full of different tastes and textures!
All of their donuts are made by hand, from scratch, with quality ingredients. They are made fresh everyday and there’s always something new on rotation.

It’s run and operated by the same people that own it, so you know you’ll get that local cozy feeling too.

The Doughnut Vault
The Doughnut Vault creates gorgeously mouthwatering, small-batch artisanal doughnuts and they always offer a variety of unique flavours.

Fern Cafe and Bakery
Local and vegan! This cute cafe offers a wide variety of menu items—coffee, lunches, and other pastry goodness.
