Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre to host Canucks game viewing party this Saturday

Share

Vancouver Canucks playoff viewing parties continue to pop up across BC, with a massive one now being held at Victoria’s Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre (SOFMC) for Game 6 of their series against the Edmonton Oilers.

The second-round match up between the two Canadian teams has lived up to the hype and either way, one of the two teams could potentially advance to the next round this Saturday, May 18th.

The series is currently tied at two games a piece with game 5 slated for Thursday.

The viewing party will be a ticketed event with profits from ticket sales going to the Moose Hide Campaign, a non-profit organization helping raise awareness about gender-based violence on Vancouver Island and across the nation.

Doors will open one hour prior to puck drop at 4 p.m. this Saturday, with a tentative 5 p.m. face-off time for the Canucks’ road game.

The SOFMC will offer a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at the Fan Deck bar, along with hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, churros, chips, and candy for purchase.

Experience a family-friendly NHL playoffs atmosphere right on the island!

Tickets are just $10 and will be available at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15th at selectyourtickets.com.
