Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 41-year old man, Jayson Delorme, who is considered to be a violent offender.
Police say Delorme is wanted for breaching the terms of his release and he has had a history of missing court dates in the past.
According to Nanaimo RCMP, Delorme was recently released from prison with specific conditions he has now broken.
He was originally sentenced on charges of domestic violence.
Police say he is thought to be travelling between Nanaimo, Port Alberni and Duncan.
Delorme is described as a non-Caucasian man, standing 5’9” tall, weighing around 200 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes.
He may also be identified by either a tattoo on his left wrist of “Kayden,” a tattoo on his back of a Crown and three piercings on his left ear.
