Garden lovers, this is for you!
Summer is nearly upon us and Butchart Gardens is ready to welcome everyone back for another wonderful season of blooms and entertainment.
This will include live music of all genres and—yes!—the highly-anticipated return of the weekly fireworks!
Starting June 28th and running until August 31st, they will begin hosting musical performances on Wednesday through Saturday evenings.
The following day, June 29th, will present the first of the season’s spectacular fireworks show, which occurs every Saturday (weather permitting) and is included in your general admission ticket.
Described as a “one-of-a-kind, world class show”, attendees will be treated to original aerial and ground firework displays designed and choreographed to music by the Butchart’s great-grandson, Christopher Ross.
Bring a blanket or chair, get cozy, and get ready for an awe-inspiring evening!
Their summer of featured performers will kick off with the Chris Millington Band, Tropic Mayhem and Odyssey String Quartet bringing guests some classic and contemporary rock, pop, hits from the 60s, jazz and more.
Over the summer, their live entertainment will also bring international flair, with contemporary Maori music, Swedish folk tunes and Celtic classics from the Emerald Isle.
Thursday, August 15th will welcome an iconic rock band Chilliwack for a special event performance. There’s a limited number of guaranteed admission tickets that become available for purchase starting at 9 a.m. on June 10th.
Other highlights include The Victoria Symphony, returning on August 1st, BTU on July 17th and Stephen Fearing on August 30th.

Plus, from June 1st to September 15th, the grounds will undergo a magical transformation as dusk falls, illuminating the garden in lights and giving everything a soft magical glow.
