Oceanside RCMP has confirmed that a two-vehicle collision along Highway 4 on Thursday morning resulted in one death.
On February 15th at around 11:20 a.m., emergency responders attended to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 4 and Carson Road in Whiskey Creek.
A passenger from one of the vehicles died on scene and the remaining vehicle occupants were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigators are looking into the cause and any contributing factors of the collision with the help of RCMP Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (CARS).

At this time, police can confirm that two passenger vehicles involved in the crash were traveling in opposite directions on Highway 4.
The identities of the individuals involved in the crash are not being released as family members have yet to be notified.
