On Sunday, January 29th, Wong Sheung Kung Fu Club’s lion dance parade took to the streets making its way throughout Chinatown in downtown Victoria.
Performing for the first time since 2019, this weekend’s celebration brought hundreds of on lookers celebrating the Year of the Rabbit.
The presence of the lions blessed the merchants by bringing good luck in the new year while scaring away evil spirits from years past.
