Oceanside RCMP are currently investigating a report they received of a fight at Ballenas Secondary School in Parksville on Tuesday.
Police can confirm that during the students lunch hour, several male students were involved in a fight.
According to RCMP, one of the students received non-life threatening injuries after reportedly being struck by another student wearing brass knuckles.
Police say no one was otherwise seriously injured in the incident.
