Nanaimo RCMP officers are asking for the public’s help in locating Charmaine Mitchell, a 48-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen or heard from since July of 2021.

Her family recently contacted Nanaimo RCMP to help them find her because of how long it’s been since they saw her or heard from Charmaine.

The family informed officers that she has struggled in recent years and thus drifted away from her immediate family.

Charmaine sometimes goes by the name ‘El Chapo’ and has no phone.

She is described as a Caucasian woman who stands 5’10” tall, is very thin and has blonde hair. Charmaine frequently wears bandanas, she has a tribal tattoo on her left arm and a rose tattoo on her right hand.

The photo seen above is several years old.

If you have information on the whereabouts of Charmaine Mitchell, call the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
