The BC Ministry of Health reported 267 new cases of COVID-19 for a three-day period from Friday, July 23rd to Monday, July 26th.
There have been 149,109 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

New cases were reported in these health regions:
- Vancouver Coastal Health: 41
- Fraser Health: 48
- Island Health: 18
- Interior Health: 155
- Northern Health: 5
There are currently 695 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
146,636 people who tested positive have recovered.
There are now a total of 43 people in hospital due to COVID-19, 17 of whom are in critical care — ICU or acute care units.
1 new person has died from COVID-related causes, making the provincial death toll at 1,768.
Outbreaks
There is currently 1 outbreak in long-term care (Holyrood Manor in Fraser Health) and assisted-living facilities and 2 outbreaks in acute-care facilities (Laurel Place at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Fraser Health and Nelson Jubilee Manor in Interior Health).
Island Health:
Island Health reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 in the Vancouver Island region and 32 active cases.
Breakdown of cases on Vancouver Island:
- South Vancouver Island Active cases: 24 │Total Cases: 2017
- Central Vancouver Island Active cases: 6 │ Total Cases: 2498
- North Vancouver Island Active cases: 2 │Total Cases: 710
1 people remain in hospital with 0 in ICU.
There have been no new deaths in the Island Health region today, and a total of 41 deaths on Vancouver Island.
Vaccinations
80.6% of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 61.3% have received their second dose.
In addition, 81.6% of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose and 64.4% have received their second dose.
To date, 6,584,264 (+161,761) doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in BC; 2,840,194 (+148,170) of which are second doses.
