Earlier this week, none other than Khal Drogo himself (or Aquaman, for those who are unaffiliated with Game of Thrones) was spotted by locals in Campbell River.
According to a CTV report, Jason Momoa stopped to hang out with his Vancouver Island fans earlier this week, after getting a workout in at the On The Rocks Climbing Gym.
The 6’3″ Hawaiian hunk is in town filming a new Apple TV miniseries titled ‘See’, made by Steven Knight – the creator of BBC show Peaky Blinders.
Directed by Hunger Games director Francis Lawrence, Momoa will star as Baba Voss, a fearless warrior, leader and guardian.
The show is being filmed in Vancouver and on Vancouver Island, so he’s likely to be in the area for at least a few more weeks.
Time to venture a trip up island, perhaps?
