Victoria Police are investigating the theft of the tiger pelt from the former Bengal Lounge at the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
The tiger pelt, which has hung in the room since the 1990s, was stolen between 3:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14th. Staff remain hopeful for the tiger’s safe return.
