Douglas Street at Chatham intersection reopened after crash sends skateboarder to hospital

Douglas Street at Chatham Street has reopened after being closed off for several hours while police investigate a crash involving a taxi and skateboarder.

One witness near the scene tells Victoria Buzz there was a skateboard on the sidewalk and a cab with most of its top lights missing in the intersection. Debris was scattered everywhere.

Victoria Police say one skateboarder was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
