Yet another dog was left suffering in a hot car this afternoon.

West Shore RCMP responded to a call concerning an extremely distressed dog who was left in a vehicle in the West Shore Town Centre parking lot, while its owner was out watching a movie in the cool theatre inside the mall.

According to a tweet from Scan BC, the dog was observed in visible distress as he was vomiting.

According to CTV reports, the owner of the dog let staff at the Cineplex Odeon theatre know that there was a dog in her car.

The back window of the vehicle was open and there was water for the pet to drink. However the golden retriever was panting heavily and was observed vomiting as well.

A witness called the RCMP who arrived on site right away. Victoria Buzz has reached out to West Shore RCMP for more details.

More to come.
