Calling all photographers!

The 10th annual Wildlife-in-Focus photography contest has just begun, which means this is your chance to have your wildlife photos featured on BC SPCA merchandise, education brochures, advocacy campaigns, facebook posts, posters, web pages, and more!

Not only do the winning photographers get the privilege of adding a prize like this to their portfolio, they also help raise money for BC SPCA’s WildARC, which takes care of over 3,000 injured and orphaned wild animals each year.

How it works

All you have to do is click here to enter the contest.

Then, get your friends and family to donate to vote for you by clicking here. Voters can choose more than one of their favourite image by donating multiple times, and thereby raising money for WildARC.

First, second, and third prizes will be awarded by judges who determine the crème de la crème of the lot based on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and artistic merit.

There will also be a People’s Choice Award for the photo with the most votes, and additionally, the 52 images with the most number of votes will be featured on an exclusive Wildlife-In-Focus deck of cards. Voting ends September 15th, 2018.

Last year, this contest raised $16,372 for WildARC. Let’s beat that number this year!
