Victoria police arrest man suspected of pharmacy robbery

Victoria police officers have taken a man into custody after a pharmacy robbery in the 1900-block of Richmond Road that occurred just after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Officers were in the area when they received the 911 call, and apprehended the suspect within two minutes.

It’s believed the suspect was targeting drugs at the pharmacy, though the investigation is still in the early stages.

Early investigations found that no weapon was produced, nor was anyone physically injured.

The suspect remains in custody.
