RCMP are investigating after the remains of two bodies were found near Ucluelet late last week.
According to the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit (VIIMCU), the remains were found by a woman who was walking her dog in the area.
Investigators and BC Coroners Service are working together to identify the remains.
RCMP say it is too early to determine whether or not the bodies are those of Ryan Daley and Daniel Archibald – the two men were last seen at a Ucluelet dock on May 16th, and have been missing ever since.
The investigation into the two missing men was deemed suspicious earlier this month. RCMP are now working with their families and ask that their privacy be respected at this time.
