A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a van on Fort Street.
The crash occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon when a van appeared to take a left turn onto Trent Street. The motorcyclist heading westbound on Fort collided into the van’s passenger side bumper.
Emergency crews were quickly on the scene. Police closed off Fort Street between Foul Bay Road and Lee Avenue while they investigated the crash.
The investigation is still in the early stages, and Victoria police are asking any witnesses to call 250-995-7654.
