Family members and Saanich Police have confirmed the body of 34-year-old Ash Redford has been located.
According to police, Redford’s body was found at Rithet’s bog at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night. He was reported missing after failing to pick up his two daughters on Saturday morning.
Redford’s 1990 light grey Honda Civic was found parked on Chatterton Way, prompting a search of the bog.
Police do not suspect foul play in this case, and BC Coroner’s Service are currently investigating.
A GoFundMe account has been created in order to help support Redford’s wife, Caitlyn, and two small children cope after their loss.
