FernFest 2018

What: Join friends and family in Fernwood Square and the Vic High field for a two-day community celebration of music, art and community.
Fernwood Square is transformed into a music festival with local bands, a BBQ and Phillips Beer and Merridale Cider.

Friday Nights on the Breakwater Barge

What: Enjoy food trucks, cold libations such as local craft beer by Phillips, Hoyne & Driftwood, Sea Cider & The Artisan Wine Shop. Dance to Victoria’s finest live music. The Breakwater Barge is nestled between Victoria’s Iconic Breakwater and magnificent cruise ships. Family Friendly (kids 5 and under free) .

8th Annual Vintage Summer Fair

What: Celebrate Summer with vibrant, VINTAGE VAVOOM…and polka dots  (The show theme – a classic for hundreds of years!)! Shop over 40 booths filled with glorious, vintage, retro and antique, one-of-a-kind treasures … including clothing, jewelry, collectibles, housewares, home & garden decor, treats, wedding items and more! 2 FLOORS!!! PLUS, fashion shows on both days! Live music (The Millies!) and vintage-inspired entertainment, dress up contests, vintage Bingo, free gifts and oodles o’ fun and merriment! Proudly supporting Women in Need Community Cooperative.

The Official FernFest Afterparty

What: Keep the celebration of the beautiful neighbourhood going with a jam-packed night of music following the full day of festivities at FernFest 2018! The Official FernFest Afterparty is not to be missed!
They  have two nights of amazing music that will keep the vibe alive until the wee hours!

Free Cooking Demonstrations

What: Each week The Victoria Public Market offers a free Cooking Demonstrations brought to you by Mike Haddow from GoodLife Fitness. Cooking demos begin at noon in the Community Kitchen, and are open for everyone to attend!
Today, you’ll learn how to make Sweet + Sour Hawaiian Meatballs
