Royal Tea Party Afternoon Tea

What: This May, everyone has even more to celebrate as this May marks the Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They’ve put our creative hats on to deliver a fun, delicious Afternoon Tea menu boasting the best of British cuisine and tradition – with a modern twist, of course!

Phillips Comedy Night at the Mint

What: The funniest night of the week is this Wednesday at The Mint! Each week Morgan Cranny and Drew Farrance bring the most hilarious comedians in the city together for a wonderful evening of fun at the best venue for stand up comedy in Victoria.

Botanical Ink Making

What: Come learn how to make botanical drawing inks from plants that were wildcrafted, homegrown, and some exotic pigments.
You will learn the basics of ink making- and come away with a set of 10- 1/2 oz amber glass bottles of ink, as well as the recipe to make more at home!

Local Songwriters’ Meet-Up

What: Local songwriters gather to share new songs and ideas and develop their craft together. Acoustic instruments (or a keyboard with a low-volume amp) are welcome. Bring a few copies of songs you are working on, and we will listen and workshop them in small groups.

Free Cooking Demonstrations

What: Each week The Victoria Public Market offers free Cooking Demonstrations brought to you by Mike Haddow from GoodLife Fitness. Cooking demos begin at noon in the Community Kitchen, and are open for everyone to attend!
Today you’ll learn how to make Curried Squash with Brown Rice
