Annual Historic Military Encampment

What: Stroll through the fort amidst marquee and bell tents representing various periods from the 1850s to the 1950s. Historic re-enactors will bring to life stories from generations ago. Admire equipment, uniforms and motor vehicles from Canada’s military past.

Ivan Decker

What: Audiences agree it is always a delight to watch Ivan perform his sharp, multi-layered observational comedy. He has performed stand-up comedy across North America and can be seen and heard as a part of the popular CBC radio program “The Debaters,” the Winnipeg and Halifax Comedy festivals for CBC Television and he recently made his American international TV debut on CONAN.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

What: Told entirely through song with the help of a main character Narrator, the musical follows preferred son Joseph. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he ingratiates himself with Egyptian noble Potiphar, but ends up in jail after refusing the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. While imprisoned, Joseph discovers his ability to interpret dreams, and he soon finds himself in front of the mighty but troubled, Elvis-inspired, Pharaoh. Joseph’s solution to Egypt’s famine elevates him to Pharaoh’s right-hand man and reunites him with his family.

Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs

What: Experience a time when civilization grew along the Nile, pyramids dotted the skyline and people believed gods walked among us.

Victoria Academy of Ballet: Celebration de la Danse

What: At the completion of each year, students participate in the Annual Recital. This performance showcases the wonderful talent at Victoria Academy of Ballet and gives all students the opportunity to display their skills and progress learned over the course of the year.
