This morning, at approximately 9:20 AM, Central Saanich Police arrested two individuals in the 6400-block of Bella Vista Drive.
A male and a female were arrested after a search warrant had been issued. They were taken into custody with help from the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team.
Central Saanich Deputy Chief Derren Lench told Victoria Buzz that the arrests were made in connection with reports of an illegal, unlicensed grow-op in a property on Bella Vista.
“In a small community like ours, we don’t like to have any drugs around, including marijuana if it’s not legal,” stated Lench.
There continues to be a police presence in the area as of 2 PM on Wednesday, March 28th, as authorities search the residence for marijuana and wrap up the investigation.
