Tim Hortons joints across Canada are about to become a whole lot more shiny!

Yesterday, the company announced its plans to invest $700 million to bring a whole new look to the majority of its locations across the nation, over the next four years.

The franchise’s new ‘Welcome Image’ will constitute more natural looking exteriors, with the interior featuring artwork that reflects Tim Hortons’ history, a photo wall that showcases their coffee-sourcing and proprietary blending process, and more open concept seating.

The aim is to bring a lighter, more friendly atmosphere to the cafés and turn them into places that invite people to come together and interact with each other.

“The expectations of our Guests are evolving, and as Canada’s most iconic brand, so must we,” said Alex Macedo, President of the Tim Hortons brand.

“Together with our Restaurant Owners, we’re focused on taking Tim Hortons to new heights – from revitalizing the Restaurant experience and evolving our menu offerings to developing creative campaigns that make all of our Guests proud to call their local Tim Hortons home.”

The announcement followed their most recent advertising campaign, during which Tim Hortons employees helped Canadian neighbours meet each other for the first time over a cup of coffee.
