Nothing says “Spring is here!” quite like the annual Victoria Flower Count!
This event celebrates the vibrant flowers that sprout all over our city come Spring, and last year, the tally was 138,798,660 flowers in total.
Each community is challenge to have counted the most flowers and be crowned the “Bloomingest Community” of the Greater Victoria area.
In 2017, Colwood won the challenge with 64,410,368 blooms, while Victoria was the runner up at 30,282,840 flowers.
