An incident downtown on late Monday afternoon prompted an investigation and arrest, and police are now seeking witnesses.
At 5:40 PM, officers were called to the intersection of Johnson and Blanshard streets after getting reports of a man “committing an act of mischief” against a vehicle.
When police arrived on site, they began an investigation which led to robbery charges, and the arrest of a suspect who was located nearby.
Though the Victoria Police news release does not delve into details, it is mentioned that two groups of people and a vehicle were involved in the incident.
