The West Shore RCMP have seized drugs and cash after a traffic stop in Langford.

On Feb. 1, police received a report of a suspicious SUV. The vehicle was located by police and pulled over. It was determined the vehicle had been stolen from Langford and the 29-year-old driver was prohibited from driving.

In the vehicle, officers found a bag containing approximately 10.5 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 6 grams of suspected cocaine, 55 suspected prescription pills, 51 grams of suspected opioids. They also found $950 cash.

Further investigation led the officers to a storage unit where hundreds of stolen tools were located. West Shore RCMP are now returning the tools to the owners.

Victoria resident, Ryan Fletcher, has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and is being held in custody pending a court appearance.
