Love is in the air, and the National Film Board of Canada wants to celebrate it with you!

The NFB has released an animated short film called ‘I Like Girls‘, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Written and directed by Montreal cartoonist and animator Diane Obomsawin, a.k.a. Obom, this cute little movie will win your heart over with its extremely real depictions of women going through the ups and downs of falling in love – but in cartoon form.

So far, it has been selected by 41 film festivals and won eight awards, including the Nelvana Grand Prize for Independent Short Animation at the Ottawa International Animation Festival and Best LGBT Short at the New York City Short Film Festival.

“In I Like Girls, four women reveal the nitty-gritty about their first loves, sharing funny and intimate tales of one-sided infatuation, mutual attraction, erotic moments, and fumbling attempts at sexual expression,” reads the description.

See for yourself!
