Share

Yesterday, Victoria Police sent out a news release asking for the public’s help in locating a truck (and driver) that took a joyride through a Fairfield park.

On Saturday morning, a white truck took a detour through Pemberton Park by entering it from the 1800-block of Richardson Street, exiting onto Gonzales Avenue, and striking a utility pole support cable in the process.

The truck’s passenger side door handle and mirror were lopped off during this encounter.

Police believe the truck is an upscale model white2015-2018 Chevrolet Silverado or GMC Sierra.

If you are the driver, or know who the truck belongs to, please call Victoria PD’s non-emergency line at (250) 995-7654. To report what you know anonymously, please call Greater Victoria Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
