Valuable items stolen from Victoria’s Largest Little Airshow storage container

Share

Some sad news was reported to the Victoria’s Largest Little Airshow Facebook page this afternoon.

According to the post, a locked maintenance storage container at the Michell Airpark flying field (Lochside Drive) was broken into, sometime between January 20 and 27th.

Several items were stolen, including a “John Deere riding lawn mower, gas powered weed eaters and the remote controlled “Red Baron” Fokker Tri-plane that has flown in the airshow against the famous Snoopy Dog House over the last decade,” reads the statement from the Victoria Radio Control Modelers Society.

The society is not-for-profit and operates on a small budget per year, so it would be difficult for them to replace these objects if not found.
