1. Harm Reduction Training

What: The University of Victoria Student Society would like to invite you to participate in free Harm Reduction Training, where you will learn to administer naloxone to reverse an overdose. Fentanyl is a dangerously potent pain-killer that is being found in many different types of drugs. Naloxone training will help you be prepared and safer.

2. Top 20 under 40 Nominations Kick Off Event – Victoria

What: Rahim Khudabux and Al Hasham, cordially invite you to join us at Max Furniture to network and learn about the Top 20 under 40 Business and Community Achievement Awards for Vancouver Island. At this one-time event for Victoria, you can learn how to create a winning nomination package from past winners and also what judges look for in choosing winners.

What: The Whisky Wisemen Society and Canadian Club are hosting a 4-course meal, whisky tasting, and after lounge penthouse evening. Taking place at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria, Whisky Over The Lights is an evening to enjoy Canada’s premium whisky alongside incredible conversation.

4. Lindsay Delaronde – Camosun Visual Arts Visiting Artist Lecture

Lindsay Delaronde – Camosun Visual Arts Visiting Artist Lecture

What: Delaronde is a professional multi-disciplinary visual artist who works in contemporary Indigenous performance and facilitator of traditional workshops, such as; moccasin making, beadwork, and Iroquois cornhusk dolls. All workshops are facilitated in a culturally significant way using circle, drum, medicines and prayer.
