A post about Victoria reached the front page of the popular internet message board Reddit yesterday.
When people think of things in Victoria that go viral on the internet, they’ll most likely imagine something obvious, like that time a farm looked for baby goat cuddlers.
Yet a post that got over 40,000 upvotes on December 25th featured one of the last things people would expect: a parking ticket.
A Redditor returned to see a ticket on their car. After further inspection, it surprisingly didn’t have a fine and instead read:
“Rather than issue a parking ticket, we invite you to pay it forward and donate to a food bank or local charity of your choice.”
