Police look to identify man who scared young boy in Colwood

West Shore RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a man who approached a young boy at the corner of Painter Rd and Cotlow Rd in Colwood.

Police responded to a report from school staff that one of their students was approached by a man in a car at about 8:15 a.m. while they were on their way to school.

The student ran to the school and alerted the school staff.

The student, parents, and school staff are working with police to help identify the driver of the car.

Description of the car:

* Grey/Black two door car,
* Low rider style,
* With possible decals,
* Silver Rims.

The description of the man:

* Early 20’s, Caucasian man,
* Long Corn rows or dreadlocks with multicolored elastics,
* Possible facial piercings,
* Dark grey shirt, leather jacket, orange pants.
