Nanaimo RCMP asking for help identifying Tim Horton’s robbery suspect

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a Tim Horton’s location at 6892 Island Highway North (Dickinson Crossing).

According to police, a man walked up to the drive-thru window around midnight on November 29. He brandished a knife and demanded cash from the till. However, the employee did not concede to his request, and the suspect departed on foot and has not been seen since.

The suspect is a white male, 35-40 years old, and heavy set with a moustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a grey toque and a black jacket with distinctive white lettering along the left sleeve.
