Share

Every summer, the city of Victoria complements its beautiful, sunny weather with free entertainment performed by local artists at Centennial Square and Beacon Hill Park.

Do you want to be a part of the city’s entertainment?

Now is the time!

The city is a looking to add to their existing roster of local talent of musicians, food truckers, and community programmers.

To be considered, applicants should apply online and provide links to samples of their work or menus by Wednesday, January 31st, 2018.

Criteria for submission

  • Musicians will be assessed on the musician or band’s broad appeal, technical expertise, and talent.
  • Food truckers will be assessed on the vendor’s food offerings as well as the technical requirements for events in Centennial Square
  • Community programmer roster submissions will be assessed on the quality and creativity of the activity proposed, and the applicant’s track record in delivering similar, successful programs to the community.

New to 2018: the Food Truck roster

Opportunity knocks in particular for all food truckers. New to this year will be a pre-determined food truck roster, from which vendors will be invited to participate in city-programmed concerts and events in Centennial Square. The roster is new to this year, offering plenty of opportunity for food truckers to promote exclusively at certain events.
