This morning, there were reports of delays at Victoria International Airport, as some passengers had to go through airport security a second time.

According to CTV News, the chaos occurred after Delta Airlines cancelled one of their flights and then accidentally returned all the checked-in luggage to their owners in the holding room.
Because checked-in baggage is not allowed in the holding room, the airport had to evacuate the area and send the passengers back through security screening for a second time.
The incident caused flight delays from 8 AM to about 10 AM this morning.
Thankfully, the matter has mostly been resolved, and travelers can expect “only minor delays” now.
Currently experiencing only minor delays as we clear passenger congestion after an earlier security breach.
