Updated | West Shore RCMP searching for missing 14-year-old autistic boy

Great news! West Shore RCMP have found Chad Sullivan, a 14-year-old autistic boy who went missing in Metchosin Wednesday morning.

Police are thanking the public, searchers, and media for their assistance.

West Shore RCMP are searching for a 14-year-old autistic boy who went missing around the 1100 block of Kangaroo Road in Metchosin Wednesday morning.

Chad Sullivan is 5 feet tall with blonde hair and brown eyes, and weighs approximately 80 pounds.

He is wearing a blue shirt, brown pants. He is non-verbal and likely won’t answer if called upon and his family are concerned for his health and well-being.

Police are asking residents in the area of 1100 block of Kangaroo Rd to check their backyards, sheds, and property.

A search and rescue team, and RCMP dog have been sent to assist in the search.
