Share

West Shore RCMP are asking for your help in reuniting Victorians with their stolen property which includes Second World War medals.

On Wednesday, police received a complaint of a break-and-enter into a sea container overnight at a construction site located in the 3300 block of Paperbark Cresent in Langford.

The RCMP are now looking a unique vacuum lift which was stolen from the shipping container. The yellow machine, which lifts large pieces of stone, is valued at $3,300 and is likely the only one on Vancouver Island.

The make is “Anver” and the model is VPF-57-AC Vac-Pack.

The following day, the West Shore RCMP recovered jewellery and a set of old WWII medals from a vehicle after a search warrant was executed on the suspect vehicle.

Police believe these items were stolen from an earlier break and enter. They are now hoping to return these precious items to their rightful owners.

Anyone with information about these two cases are asked to contact West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264.
