The infamously unfiltered comedian Kurt Metzger is on tour with his brand new one-hour stand-up comedy special It’s Only Going to Get Worse, and will make a stop at Hecklers Bar & Grill on October 5.
Metzger, now based in New York, started out doing comedy in his hometown of Philadelphia, alongside now-famous friends like Kevin Hart and Big Jay Oakerson.
From Chappelle’s Show to Inside Amy Schumer
He quickly climbed the ranks and relocated to NYC, where his act caught the eye of HBO and Comedy Central producers. His hilarious and unique style of writing soon landed him writing gigs on two hit series: Chappelle’s Show and Comedy Central Celebrity Roasts.
Metzger has since worked as a writer and actor on the Louis CK’s Louie, and Horace and Pete as well as the Emmy Award-winning series Inside Amy Schumer.
