Celebrate Canada 150 at this massive corn maze in North Saanich

Share

It’s corny and eh-mazing at the same time. Okay, enough with the puns.

The nation has been celebrating Canada 150 all year long, and a North Saanich corn maze has joined the party.

Located at 9537 West Saanich Rd, Pendray’s Corn Maze, formally Vancouver Island Corn Maze, will open up its fields for the 3rd year of operation.

The maze, which sits on 14 acres of the farm’s 25 total acres, features a different design every year, from birds and pumpkins to this year’s Canada 150 hockey player and bear designs.

New to this year will be barrel trains that your kids will likely harass you to ride.

There’s also a walking trail around the maze for those who aren’t thrilled about getting lost, and corn cannons to satisfy those with a thirst for destruction.

On September 9th, Pendray’s Corn Maze and three other businesses will be accepting donations for Sidney Lion’s Food Bank! They will also be matching cash donations at the maze or online donations up to a total of $500 each. They will also be accepting non-perishable food items at the farm.
