We’ve all had fish and chips before; whether it be a large chain restaurant, or local gems you discovered on a battered-cod-craving sort of day.
But not everyone has had Haultain’s Fish & Chips. And the legendary location is now for sale, according to realtor.ca.
This local gem can be yours for only $198,000.
“This operation has a number of areas where you can increase value and consequently increase the bottom line. Its [Haultain Fish & Chips] only opened 5 days a week and an average of 35 hours for the week,” reads the sale description.
The classic Fish n’ Chips restaurant has been in business since 1924, yet remarkably has only had two owners.
The first operated for 50 years before the current regime took charge, and has led it through the last 43 years.
That’s ninety-seven years of battered cod and delicious fries.
Hopefully there’s a ninety-eighth.
