Over 40 Victoria attractions will be absolutely free this Saturday

Share

Last year, the Victoria Foundation celebrated its 80th anniversary by sharing over two dozen free attractions around the city. This year, they’ve stepped up their game yet again.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, the Victoria Foundation Community Day will return, this time with 40 free places!

The 2017 edition features even more locations to visit, including even more museums, galleries, gardens, parks, churches, non-profits, sport facilities and more, many of which are registered charities.

Each will be opening their doors, offering experiences, activities and knowledge at no cost, all in celebration of Greater Victoria and its residents.

An Opportunity to Explore the Victoria Region

“We know from Vital Signs just how important feeling a part of a community is to a person’s well-being and sense of belonging,” said CEO Sandra Richardson. “That’s why we’ve created this opportunity for people to really get out and explore their own region without any barriers.
