Family and friends are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 25-year-old man.
Markus Spodzieja was last seen at around noon on Friday at the 2% Jazz coffe shop on Hillside Avenue, where he works.
He has had no contact with friends or family since and failed to show up for his night shift.
His fiancée Emma Hughes said he doesn’t have a vehicle and his bike is still locked up at home. Markus has a Modo account but it hasn’t been active.
“It’s completely out of character,” Hughes said.
The 25-year-old is described as Caucasion, 6’5” tall, has wavy brown hair and has a beard. He has brown eyes and wears glasses. Markus was last seen wearing jeans, a grey Abe Lincoln/T-rex T-shirt, jeans and brown running shoes.
Anyone who sees Markus, or has information on his whereabouts, is asked to call Victoria Police at 250-995-7654.
