The middle section of the West Shore Parkway connecting Highway 14 (Sooke Road) to Langford Parkway opened to traffic on Wednesday morning.
The City of Langford says that the 1.6-kilometre section of roadway will allow traffic to flow “in a controlled manner.”
But thanks to YouTuber Matthew Dawson, you don’t need to drive all the way out there to see what it looks like.
Dawson posted a short video giving viewers a biker’s view of the road. It looks pretty sleek, apart from the remaining construction.
This final section, which extends from Langford Parkway to Landing Lane, is scheduled to open in early October.
