Victoria’s Redbrick launches new influencer marketing application

Share

Redbrick, Canada’s second-fastest growing software company, has released a new product, Assembly: a cloud-based application that allows brands and marketing agencies to manage all of their influencer marketing campaigns in one centralized location.

What is Influencer Marketing?

Influencer marketing is a new form of advertising that capitalizes on social media trends. If you’ve ever seen a YouTuber recommend a product, heard a podcaster offer a promotion, or follow the Kardashians on Instagram, chances are you’ve already experienced it.

This new wave of marketing is a response to people ignoring traditional advertisements like tv, radio, and billboard commercials. Even online ads have become less effective thanks to ad blockers.

But influencers have an ability to captivate an audience that commercials and website ads don’t. People flock to online personalities by the millions and put faith in their recommendations. So, when one of those online stars advertises a product, that can have a very significant impact on sales.

In the past few years, influencer marketing has seen an explosion in popularity, with 84% of marketers saying they plan on launching at least one influencer campaign during the next 12 months.

“Brands across virtually every market are allocating major resources into leveraging the power of peer influence on social media by having their products promoted by celebrities and niche thought leaders alike while gaining organic, targeted exposure to their loyal social followers — followers who already happen to be paying attention to what they have to say,” said Assembly CEO Neil Henderson.

New Marketing, New Management

But as with all new forms of media, management infrastructure hasn’t quite kept pace with influencer marketing. That’s where Redbrick’s Assembly application comes in.

“Managing one influencer campaign is tedious and time-consuming enough, let alone managing dozens or even hundreds of them simultaneously,” said Redbrick CMO Marco Pimentel. “Our goal with Assembly was to streamline influencer management by bringing all the moving parts together in one neat package.”

Key features of Assembly include influencer onboarding, campaign management, real-time analytics reporting and tracking, in-app payments, and more.
