The Victoria Pride Parade happens this Sunday with a new start time

With the heat of the summer comes one of the biggest, most well-known and most community-inclusive celebrations Victoria has to offer: The Pride Parade.

The 2017 parade will feature over 100 colourful groups and floats!

If you so choose, you can even join in on Victoria’s second-biggest parade of the year.

March proudlyalongside local businesses, non-profits, and members and allies of the LBGTQ community.

But the activities don’t stop there. Following the parade, make your way down to MacDonald Park in James Bay for the Victoria Pride Festival!

Victoria Pride Parade 2017

  • When: 11 a.m. Sunday, July 9
  • Where: The intersection of Pandora and Government. The parade runs along Government, down Belleville Street, and then through James Bay ending at MacDonald Park at the corner of Oswego and Simcoe.
  • Cost: FREE
