Update: McCallum Road has reopened after earlier fuel spill in Langford.
Earlier:
McCallum Road has been closed after a tanker truck literally “broke down” and began spilling liquid.
The truck itself was transporting water, but the spilled liquid is believed to have come from the vehicle’s fuel tank. Fire crews are currently assessing the situation.
Travellers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
