Nautical Nellies Steak & Seafood House is located at the corner of Broughton & Wharf Street, overlooking Victoria’s Inner Harbour.

Patio season may be coming in stops and starts, but for the next surge of Victorian sunshine, a couple of local hotspots might be worth checking out.

Opentable has released their list of Canada’s top 100 outdoor dining restaurants, and two of Victoria’s favourites made the list: Butchart Gardens – The Dining Room, and Nautical Nellies Steak and Seafood House.

Compiled from over 515,000 reviews submitted for more than 2,000 restaurants, the top 100 aren’t ranked in any particular order.

However, the Butchart Gardens Dining Room has a 4.7 rating on opentable.com while Nautical Nellies is at 4.2.

Province by province, Ontario has the most restaurants on the list with 44, followed by British Columbia (27), and Alberta (16). Québec also had eight restaurants, Manitoba five, and Nova Scotia with one (appropriately named The Stubborn Goat).
