The The 11th annual Power To Golf raised a whopping $400,000 last week in support of Power To Be.

The Victoria/Vancouver based non-profit “empowers people to explore their limitless abilities through inclusive adventures rooted in nature”.

“The support Power To Be received yesterday is vital to ensuring we can offer programs year-round to the participants we serve in Victoria and Vancouver,” said Dana Hutchings, Power To Be Director of Advancement and Communication. “The generosity of our guests helps ensure more than 1,200 participants can create their own community connections.”

Along with numerous local business leaders, NHL players Jamie Benn (Dallas Stars), Jordie Benn (Montreal Canadiens), and Tyson Barrie (Colorado Avalanche) also attended the fundraiser.

The trio made time for a meet and greet with three Power To Be participants. Tristan Piercey, Adam Irwin Gunn, and Todd Morrison all went home with a signed jersey from the Dallas Stars captain.
